The 1st ITU Workshop on Data Processing and Management for IoT and Smart Cities & Communities” was co-hosted by the European Commission and Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC). The Workshop took place at the European Commission in Brussels. It encouraged wide participation from those involved in smart cities and data management to provide a suitable forum for collaboration. This one day event was followed by the third UN/ITU-T Focus Group on Data Processing and Management (FG-DPM) with approximately 40 participants.

The IoT EPI joint meeting brought together all IoT-EPI projects over a period of 2 days and sparked lively discussions on the way forward.

ISG CDP was set up to provide tools to take smart city technologies that have been successful in one city and replicate them in other cities, taking into account differences in city size, population, culture, etc.
The scope of this event was to present the work developed by the Energy Group of CIRA (Algarve Regional Innovation Council) for the energy strategy in the Algarve Region until 2030, as well as the various R&D projects taking place in the region as well as to present the new project on Energy Efficiency in Tourism and Good Developments Energy Practices in the Hotel Sector.
The scope of this event was to present the work developed by the Enercoutim in the VICINITY Project relating to the Use Cases and the VAS to the stakeholders. Enercoutim presented to the stakeholder the evolution of the work which have been done for the Vicinity Platform and to explain how it works to have a feed back from the stakeholder envolved.
