VICINITY project at “SAI Intelligent Systems Conference 2017 (IntelliSys 2017)”

IntelliSys 2017 is one of SAI (Science and Information) conferences that are technically sponsored by IEEE. The focus of the conference is the application of intelligent systems and artificial intelligence to the real world. 

University of Kaiserslautern has given a presentation on the VICINITY paper “Drivers, Standards and Platforms for the IoT: Towards a digital VICINITY” on September 8th, 2017.

 

Conference Feedback

The VICINITY presentation attracted the audience mainly focused on the development of ontologies to describe things and services. The VICINITY semantic model and the contribution to the standardisation with VICINITY requirements were of particular interest.
