Tuesday, January 30, 2018 (All day)
Tower Gateway Hotel, London, UK

The British Standards Institute (BSI) was the first National Standards Organisation (NSO) established in London in 1901. BSI is now a leading NSO with 13,800 members and 90 offices in 31 countries. BSI publishes around 2,700 standards per year including in the areas of Smart Cities and IoT.

This report covers the 2nd and 3rd BSI IoT Forums held on 30 January and 20 March 2018. The workshops were organised by BSI on behalf of their SDS2 Smart Cities committee.

£725m is being provided by the UK Govt through Innovate UK for four Grand Challenges: Future Mobility, Clean Growth, Healthy Ageing and the AI & Data Economy.

Keith Dickerson and Nigel Wall (CAL) participated in the workshops. The VICINITY project was mentioned during oral presentations and discussions and interest in the VICINITY Open Call was shown by several participants and speakers. I promoted the Open Call to several participants involved in developing MaaS and air quality sensing solutions.
