VICINITY will be demonstrated at the Hannover Trade Fair 2017 from April 24 to 28 during its project lifetime in the domains of Energy, Mobility, E-Health and Building Automation. However, the concept is directly applicable to other domains like e.g. Industry 4.0 as well. Researchers from the Technical University (TU) Kaiserslautern (Christopher Heinz and Johannes Kölsch) will present the VICINITY project at the state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Hall 2, Stand B40).

Hannover Fair has been the world’s leading industrial tradeshow and largest capital goods exhibition for years. Seven international leading trade fairs at the same time and the same place: HANNOVER MESSE covers a wider range of themes and exhibits than any other event – R&D, industrial automation and IT, industrial supply, production engineering and services, as well as energy and environmental technology. The opportunity to develop new sales leads in other sectors, unique access to new products and technologies and a huge international presence attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.

From individual components to the complete intelligent factory, as well as topical trends such as energy efficiency, lightweight construction and additive manufacturing – at HANNOVER MESSE one can get a complete picture of the industrial value-adding chain under one roof - in Hannover and worldwide.
